| Dr. Bauer grew up in the Chicago area. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1981 and from the University of Illinois Medical School in 1985. His internship and residency in pediatrics were at the Lutheran General Children’s Medical Center. He joined Lake Forest Pediatric Associates in 1988. Dr. Bauer is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, and is on the medical staff of Lake Forest Hospital and Children’s Memorial Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Bauer is active in the leadership of the medical staff at Lake Forest Hospital. He is the past Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics and past President of the Medical Staff. Dr. Bauer and his wife have three children. |
